Description“Willy Guhl, after training as a cabinetmaker, studied with Wilhelm Kienzle at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich, returning there to teach shortly thereafter. A forerunner and great master of Swiss industrial design. Kienzle, in 1935, offers us a cheerful way to water cacti. Guhl, in 1954, creates a beach chair with a sheet of fiber cement. A ribbon that closes in a magical bend to welcome us, for a pittance.“
