Description«You can probably still buy a steel dustpan, but they are rarer than they used to be. The wide mouth of these accepts sweepings from all the probable angles of brushwork, while the rubber edge helps to eliminate any discrepancy of floor level and provides a satisfying acoustic when contacting a hard floor. These days no one would think of producing a dustpan in metal because a sophisticated shape can be more easily and economically achieved in plastic, even though metal ones are superior in the long term.»Jasper Morrison
