Description«I’d love to have seen this exhibition, from the golden age of Citroën. The Deux Chevaux (two horsepower) was 19 years old, while the DS was 12: two great cars but total opposites. The Deux Chevaux was made to replace farmers’ horse-drawn carts and looked older than its years, though full of character, while the DS had extremely modern looks and was made as an executive / family car. These differences are perfectly expressed in this poster with the low-slung smoothly aerodynamic model travelling much faster from right to left and the Deux Chevaux negotiating the extremely rough surface of a farm track from left to right.»Jasper Morrison
