Description“One word and fifty-one letters, a minor masterpiece. For the manual typesetters of Basel, Robert Büchler puts the twenty-six letters of the alphabet into order, first the lower case, then the upper. The consonants are lined up vertically, next to the vowels. When he reaches the letter "t" he inserts the word "typographie". Absolute type.
Carl Graf makes the four words of the title rise in a masterful rhythm, for a toast to the four millennia of glass on display, while Lohse makes four pieces for Wohnbedarf—two curved and two straight, alternating—dance happily in the rigor of his modules.“
