Description“In 1963, for Giuseppe Brion, Zanuso and Sapper design an innovative portable radio, immediately christened Cubo. Two plastic shells with rounded corners, hinged together, respectively containing the radio receiver and the speaker. And then Algol, a portable television featuring an inclined screen to permit viewing even when the device is placed on the floor. Here again, the shell is in plastic. The extractable steel handle lies flush with the surface of the housing. New materials and new technologies are combined with modes of use, with lightness and a sense of synthesis.“
