Description«Two chairs of the same family by Willy Guhl. I like the sympathetic expression these chairs have, both look so available to perform their roles, while their feet have a lunar landing character far ahead of the event. Though technically less sophisticated than Guhl’s scobalit chairs or Charles Eames’ fibreglass shell chairs, these chairs arrived at the same time. Clearly there was something in the air at that time which led to experiments in new ways of making chairs.»Jasper Morrison
