Description«Extraordinary economy of material combined with ergonomics and good looks. It looks like aluminium but in fact it’s painted steel (cheaper and stronger but also heavier!). The shaped sides and back are stamped and pressed steel, punched out with an interlocking pattern which minimises waste (the gaps you see in the seat would have provided the corresponding structural elements for another seat). The pressed corrugations serve to strengthen the seat and also to soften its appearance as does the rolled outer edge.»
