Description"Faced with the growing influence of China, Hong Kong wants to keep its independence and freedom. This is why a pro-democracy movement has formed.During the 2019 mass protests, Hong Kong protesters used Bruce Lee’s amorphous movement technique (“Be Water”) to avoid arrest by the authorities. Alongside these clashes, the walls were covered with graffiti slogans, Post-its and posters. This visual communication of the protesters was created through a categorization of colors, icons and symbols inspired by pop culture.
Since its retrocession to China, Hong Kong is a special administrative region under the application of the “one country, two systems” constitutional principle. And since the national security law is applied, freedom of expression is seriously limited. What are the strategies to get around an abusive law?"
