DescriptionHow can experience design contribute to a cultural perception of the Iranian politeness by a Western tourist?

“Design for cultural interactions” shows the potential of design as a medium between different cultures. A traditional Iranian form of hospitality and politeness, which differs strongly from Western behaviour, was used to illustrate this idea. The project proposes innovative actions and applies practical design work to initiate and sustain educational communication between the tourist and the host.
