«Dieses Mobiliar ist nicht immobil, hier bewegt sich etwas. Beim Armlehnsessel ist es die Rückenlehne, die schwingt und sich unserer Körperhaltung anpasst, während im Fall der Chaiselongue unsere momentane Neigung die Neigung der «Wiege» bestimmt. Dank der Haftreibung des Gummis, mit dem die Querbalken der Basis überzogen sind, bleibt sie immer schön stabil.»
