Book. Own project. Idea was to gain experience of making a book and to have fun. WW first book. Summary of works undertaken during time in Stuttgart. Experiments organised in various simple themes. WW opinion of work is terrible and ugly. Letterpress and woodcut. Introduction is important - written by founder of Merz Academy (A. L. Merz) - writes about WW as a student during this time e.g. “Made work at the Academy that was special”. Circa 30 pages. Rough mechanical sketch book included.
