Description«These are character samples for the Paris Metro by another titan of Swiss typography, Adrian Frutiger, who was commissioned to completely renew and unify all the metro signs in Paris, but was clever enough to realise that it would be better to introduce them gradually when signs needed replacing. I find these drafts, collaged blueprints, beautiful, though the final typeface design is even more so.»
