Description«I had to look up the designer of this mysterious poster, Shigeo Fukuda, and it turns out he was a friend of Bruno Munari. He was also an early and tireless campaigner for peace and environmental issues. His work focussed on optical illusions and surrealistic devices to make various points. In this case I think he’s commenting on the excessive manufacturing, the unnecessary reinventing of products and the pollution which results from corporate competition.»Jasper Morrison
