Description“Here again, three times, the same double lesson. We have to learn to read the images—structure, meaning, and syntax—and learn to listen to what they have to tell us. Because they will be the ones to indicate how we should or can use them. In the two covers designed by Tschichold the placement of the text below the image, in tune with the different structural arrangements, is significant, while Moholy-Nagy and Bayer incorporate words in the construction of the image itself: the first in a dynamic and skillful type-photo-montage, the second in a perfect schematic representation.“
