DescriptionThe main goal of the thesis is to understand how the decisions we make, can influence one's interpretation. How to be unique and special in our performance and nevertheless still respecting the composer's whishes'? Why interpreters decide to play one way and not the other? Furthermore, the other focus of this investigation is checking in video recordings the hand movements and how it affects the sound quality. Lastly, the author presents some reflections on performance of Chopin's works and then her conclusions.
