DescriptionIn her thesis the author is searching for explanations for a better understanding of improvisation. She wants to break down the walls that keep classical musicians in particular in misconceptions about improvisation, and to give more knowledge on this subject for finding answers to things that come from these misunderstandings. In addition to this, she wants to introduce and explain silent film improvisation, as well as analysing one of her improvisations for a silent movie.
