DescriptionThe goal in this thesis is to question how we position the left hand on the cello, specifically the angle at which the fingers contact the strings. In addition, the aim is to look at the effects the different hand positions have on the fingers, summing up the positive and negative aspects of each of these positions, as well as the dangers likely to be as a result of a 'bad' position of the hand.
