Description“The Savoy vase takes the name of the restaurant in Helsinki for which Alvar and Aino Aalto designed all the furnishings in 1936. This wondrous amoeba in glass has been interpreted in a wide range of variations, sculpted in wooden molds, blown and crafted by hand. The table is a natural meeting of two couples, two uprights and two shelves in birch plywood, functionally and harmoniously curved.“
