Exhibitions of [Bent lead composition]

Bent lead compositions made during lunch breaks when WW was working in the type department of printing house Birkhäuser Verlag (WW was a part-time student at the Kunstgewerbeschule Basel). Using the very simple hand test printing machine ‘Nudel’ – a Vandercook cylinder proofing press – WW started to bend and print lead lines in varying weights. Very spontaneous and immediate experiments. 14 pages. Note: WW also printed the book ‘Experiment 1962’ on this type of press.
