As a tool, I think I prefer the pencil. AI is an incredible new tool that boasts remarkable speed and features. However, its fundamental learning process stems from distilling past human endeavors. I believe it will undoubtedly continue to have a substantial impact across numerous industries. Yet, as it becomes more pervasive, I am curious about its effect on ingenuity and originality, which only time will reveal. When it comes to a thinking tool, I personally prefer the pencil due to its capacity for fostering organic and spontaneous idea generation. The physical act of drawing or writing encourages creativity and free thinking, resulting in more natural and spontaneous ideas, and also minimizes screen time.
