This is particularly true for companies, groups and association, etc. But what about the individuals' identity? How can the birth attributes of each individual be communicated visually?
The Visual Self project is an attempt to address these questions by recalling the ancient language of heraldry, based on which, a personal visual identification system is generated. The system represents each individual equally, while allowing them to have their own unique visual identification.
This publication serves as a manual and introduces the system put in place to set the visual identification.[...]."
