Research series exploring relationship of different line weights to each other. WW took initiative to bring Hofmann exercises into the place where he felt most at home – the type shop. Inspired by Hofmann’s exercises only, they were not directly related as they had no real intellectual theme. Same concept as with all Weingart work: researching the possibilities of any given material. Lead composed so very flexible to change the arrangements and create a different effect. 4 x sheets. Weingart’s favourite from line series, says a lot about music, landscape, trees ad architecture to him.
