Description"Across organizations and industries the transition to a Manager roll is challenging. My research revealed that it takes between 3-9 months for newly promoted managers to feel truly comfortable in their new role. They lack a clear role understanding, are often overwhelmed with the work, and feel insecure about new responsibilities such as performance evaluation and coaching. I wanted to understand how Blue Matter, a Strategy Consulting Firm, can provide better support and accelerate learning for Managers. As part of this project I co-created and tested new traning modules, support systems and role descriptions for Managers. Together, these prototypes will be piloted as a Manager Starter Kit in March 2020."
